This coming Sunday there will be the FNB Joburg 10K CITYRUN which will cause some disruption for traffic entering and exiting our church. The organisers of the FNB Joburg 10K CITYRUN have agreed to keep a single-lane going in one direction on Jan Smuts to allow our congregation to come to Mass. They have shared the following traffic diversion information.
When coming to the 7h30am and 9h30am services this coming Sunday (24 September 2017), please take note of the following:
- From Empire Rd, turn left or right onto De Villiers Graaf Motorway (M1) via the onramp, continue straight until taking Exit 12 onto Smit St. Proceed straight on Smit St before turning left into Station St and then turning right into Juta St. Proceed straight on Juta St, before turning left onto Bertha Rd and entering the church premises on Bertha Rd.
- Special arrangements have been made to ensure that the parishioners have unhindered access to the church entrance
- Upon exiting the church premises, only a left turn towards Jan Smuts Ave will be permitted
- Vehicles will not be allowed access into Jan Smuts Ave from Empire Rd for the duration of the event (07h00 – 11h00)
