Fr Graham Pugin, S.J.
Fr Graham Pugin, S.J. is an English scholar, national chaplain to Christian Life Communities, parish priest of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and chaplain to the Universities of the Witwatersrand and Johannesburg. Before joining the Society he completed his BA at the University of Natal, majoring in English and Biblical Studies. He joined the Jesuits after being one of the early conscientious objectors in 1979. He studied at Heythrop College in the University of London, earning his MTh, and then studied and taught English Philology, reading for his MA and MSt at the University of Oxford as a member of Campion Hall. He was a previous pastor at Holy Trinity and during that time he introduced and ran the annual Trinity Arts Festival. He was ordained in the Archdiocese of Cape Town on the Feast of St Ignatius, 31 July 1991.
