RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS (R.C.I.A.)

RCIA is a formation process for adults who are interested in becoming Catholics, both those never baptized or those baptized in other Christian communities. It may also be of interest to Catholics who have not practiced for some time, and would like to refresh their faith.

The gatherings take place on Sunday mornings during the 09h30 AM Mass. During the course of the year, specific Rites are celebrated on Sundays with the catechumens and candidates for full Communion. The highlight of this process is the celebration of the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist during the Easter Vigil Liturgy.

As new members join our Church community, the RCIA process continues until the Feast of Pentecost. Inquirers are welcomed to talk to one of our priests or call the Church.

BAPTISM FOR INFANTS

Parents wishing to seek baptism for their children are invited to call the Parish to make an appointment with the Parish Deacon. Classes are held for parents or prospective parents the week prior to Baptism on a Saturday morning; children already of an age to be instructed will also be given classes. Baptisms usually take place on a Sunday morning at 11 AM unless special arrangements are made.
