What is Planned Giving (Pledges)?

Planned Giving or Pledges allows the Parish Finance Committee to accurately estimate the Income the parish will receive monthly and therefore be able to prepare a budget for 2018 and plan the expenditure and projects.  Every 2 years the Parish Finance Committee requests that every Parishioner re-evaluate their contribution to the Planned Giving Campaign and renew their pledge/commit themselves to giving a set amount per week or month to Holy Trinity.  If you are new to the Parish, we request you to complete the form and pledge a monthly or weekly amount.

How do I sign up for the Planned Giving campaign?

Simply complete the form that we hand out – complete your personal details and commit to a certain amount per month or week.  Note that the personal information we collect is used to provide the Diocese with Census information, however will not be used for any other purpose and the Parish Office takes great care to ensure that 1) your personal information  and 2) the amount you pledge remains confidential and is not disclosed to anyone.  The pledge amounts (and no personal details) are used as inputs to the Parish budget.

Monthly/Weekly how do I provide my Pledged amount to the Parish?

There are various ways of contributing:

  • Simply do an EFT or set up a monthly and recurring EFT – please refer to the bulletin for the Parish bank account details. As a reference please put “PLANNED GIVING”.  If you already have a monthly EFT set up, please review the amount and update in line with the form completed today.
  • Envelopes are available from the Parish Office or back of the Church – please place the Planned Giving amount in the envelopes and put it in the Offertory collection weekly or monthly

The Parish Finance Committee would like to thank you again for your consistent support and encourage you to continue contributing to our parish:  if you were already contributing to the Planned Giving (Pledges) campaign, we ask you to review the amount you had previously contributed and update it to your current circumstances.  If you are new to the parish, please join our Planned Giving (Pledges) campaign and commit to contributing a set amount per month.  Should you have any questions regarding the Planned Giving (Pledges) campaign, please contact the members of the Parish Finance Committee.
