Weekly Sermon Note
Each week, on the parish WhatsApp channel, we send out a Sermon Note. The idea is that this note is to help you reflect on the Scriptures and the theme of the sermon throughout the week. For those who do not have Sunday Missals, we include one of the relevant Scripture texts. If you do not have a Missal and want to follow the texts, we invite you to bring a Bible to Mass. The Scripture texts are always printed in the bulletin. To get the bulletin and Sermon Note online, please WhatsApp +2711 399 2826
Celebrating Sacraments
Please note: The Sacraments of the Church are meant to be lived; they are not “magic”. They are celebrated in the community of the Church, for the recipients and for the community. They belong to the Church and are not “given” to individuals. When presenting a child for baptism or requesting the Sacrament of Marriage, we expect people to be members of the community who regularly worship with the community. We cannot celebrate Sacraments if people do not regularly worship with the community, or there is little indication that there will be regular Sacramental practice and participation.
Student Mass
The Last Mass for the year will be on Sunday the 30th of November.

Alpha Course
Have you previously taken part in the Alpha Course? The parish is in the process of forming an Alpha Team for our upcoming programme, and we are inviting former participants to consider serving in this ministry. Your experience and presence can make a meaningful contribution to others who are beginning their journey of faith. If you are interested in joining the team, please email alpha@trinityjhb.co.za to express your interest.
Let us pray for the sick
Let us pray for all the sick of the parish. Should you wish to have names added to the list, please email the parish office. We pray, especially for Rev Billy Davies, Sarah, Sr. Sheelagh Mary, Daphne White and Jarrod Van de Berg.
