Cathedral of Christ the King – 65th Anniversary

The Cathedral of Christ the King joyfully invites you to a Mass of Thanksgiving in celebration of the 65th  Anniversary of its Consecration, on Saturday 20th of September at 09h00. All are invited!

Book Sale

You can buy your copy of “The Gospel: Would one book not have been enough?” by Fr. David Neuhaus, SJ with Debbie French & Terence Creamer, after mass this weekend. (Fr. David will be here to sign books) or from the parish office during the week. R150 per book

Parish Stewardship Invitation

Members of the Parish Pastoral Council will be available outside after each Mass to invite you to consider making a monthly financial commitment to Holy Trinity Parish. By pledging a fixed amount each month – whether it’s R10, R100, or R1000 – you help the Parish Finance Committee plan more effectively. Knowing what income to expect each month allows us to budget confidently and allocate funds toward vital areas of the parish community. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. Thank you for your continued generosity and support.

Heritage Day Braai

The Parish Fundraising Committee will host the Annual Heritage Day Braai on Saturday, 27 September from 11h00. Tickets: R175 (adults), R75 (kids). Student group discount: R75 off for every group of 5 students. Your support will be greatly appreciated!

Pilgrimage with Fr. Russell: Barcelona-Lourdes-Paris

You Fowler Tours is offering a pilgrimage with Fr. Russell as the leader from 4-13 October 2026. The pilgrimage will also be a fundraiser for the restoration of the windows, as a percentage will come to Holy Trinity. Annual Leadership Conference 2025

All leaders are invited to attend the Annual Leadership Conference hosted by the Department of Evangelisation in the Archdiocese of Johannesburg. The Conference will be on Saturday 18th October from 09h00 till 16h00 at Holy Family College in Parktown. Cost per person is R100. Those interested to attend, please email the parish and you will be registered. Deadline for registration is 30th of September.

Mass Intentions

You can contact the office for Mass intentions. A suggested donation is R50 per Mass. The Mass intentions will be published so that people know which intention or who the Mass is being celebrated for.

Student Matters

Please be advised that Baptism and 1st holy communion for Tertiary Education RCIA class will be held on the 21st of September 2025 at the 4pm Mass.

Flowers in Memorial

If you would like to donate flowers in memory of a loved one to the parish for the altar, please contact the parish office. You can also make a financial contribution towards flowers in the wall-box at the door into the sacristy labelled “Flowers
