Day of Reconciliation
Monday, 16th December is a public holiday. Mass will be at 09h00 and not 13h15.
Gaudete Second Collection
We will take the Christmas Collection for the Poor at all Masses.
Stained Glass Windows Update
We have raised R350 000.00 so far for the windows. Thank you for your contributions. Please continue to help us collect money as we need to raise R2.5million to save the windows! The first phase (The Rose Window) of the restoration will begin on the 13th January 2025.
Archbishop’s Farewell
There will be a farewell Mass for Archbishop Buti Tlhagale OMI at the Cathedral of Christ the King at 09h30 on 11 January 2025. All are invited to come and give him thanks for his many years as Archbishop of Johannesburg.
Installation of Stephen Cardinal Brislin as Archbishop of JHB
Cardinal Brislin will be installed as Archbishop of Johannesburg on 25 January at St. Benedict’s College, Bedfordview. All are welcome. Mass is at 09h30.

The Pope’s Prayer Intention for December
We pray with Pope Francis that this Jubilee will strengthen us in our faith, help us recognise the Risen Christ in the midst of our lives, and transform us into pilgrims of Christian Hope.
Christmas Season Times
The Parish Office will be closed on the 20th of December 2024 and reopen on the 13th of January 2025
24th December ~ Christmas Eve: 18h30—Office of Readings with Carols and Sung Mass of the Night.
25th December ~ Christmas Day: 07h30 Mass at Dawn, 09h00 Sung Morning Prayer followed by 09h30 Sung Mass of the day.
Weekday Masses from Thursday 26th December 2024 – Friday, 10th January 2025 will be at 09h00 and not at 13h10.
Sunday Masses will be at 07h30 and 09h30. (16h00 student mass will resume on the 18th Jan 2025)
Weekday Masses return to normal schedule at 13h15, on Monday, 13th of January 2025.
There will be no Morning Prayer on Sundays 29th of December 2024 and 05th of January 2025.
