Please note that the Ride Joburg Cycle Race is this Sunday, 17 November 2024, which will affect access to the Church. THERE WILL BE NO MORNING MASSES THIS DAY. Masses will be at 17h30 on Saturday 16 November for Sunday and at 18h00 on Sunday 17 November.
Liturgical Ministers Workshop
Fr. Russell would like to meet ALL Ushers, Proclaimers and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion for a workshop on the 23 November at 11h00.
Little Sisters of Jesus
The Little Sisters of Jesus will be at Trinity next weekend, 24 November, to sell the candles and jams they make for a living. They will be here after both morning Masses. Please support them!
St. Vincent de Paul
A second collection will be taken on Sunday 24 November. The SSVP would like to thank everyone for your generosity and continued support!
Christmas Market
The Kopanang Community Trust will hold a Christmas Market at Trinity on 1 December after the morning Masses. The market will sell embroidered, beaded, and sewn items such as homeware, bags, and Christmas decorations. The women who make the items will receive 50% of the sales, and the rest will go to buying materials and running the project. Please support this initiative.
Christmas Lunch for the Homeless
Christmas lunch for the homeless will be on Saturday, 7 December 2024. We are looking for monetary donations and food contributions. For EFT donations, please use “homeless lunch” as a reference. We are inviting volunteers to assist with various tasks. Please write your details on the list on the table at the back of the church.
Archbishop’s Installation
Cardinal Stephen Brislin will be installed as the Metropolitan Archbishop of Johannesburg on 26 January 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Benedict’s College, Bedfordview.
Garden of Remembrance
All those who would like to purchase a plaque and have it installed in the Garden of Remembrance to remember your faithful departed, kindly contact the parish office to place an order. Each plaque costs R1400.00.
