LITTLE SISTERS OF JESUS

The Little Sisters of Jesus will be at Trinity this weekend, 24th November, to sell the candles and jams they make for a living. Please support them!

 

16H00 STUDENT MASS

The last 16h00 Sunday Student Mass for the year will be on the 1st December. It will resume on the 18th January 2025.

 

St. VINCENT DE PAUL

A second collection will be taken this Sunday, 24th November. The SSVP would like to thank everyone for your generosity and continued support!

 

STAINED GLASS WINDOWS UPDATE

We have raised R150,000 so far for the windows. Thank you for your contributions. Please continue to help us collect money as we need to raise R2million to save the windows.

 

CHRISTMAS MARKET

The Kopanang Community Trust will hold a Christmas Market at Trinity on 1st December after the morning Masses. The market will sell embroidered, beaded, and sewn items such as homeware, bags, and Christmas decorations. The women who make the items will receive 50% of the sales, and the rest will go to buying materials and running the project. Please support this initiative.

 

CHRISTMAS LUNCH FOR THE HOMELESS

The parish’s Christmas lunch for the homeless will be on Saturday, 7th December 2024. Please come and support this work.

 

ARCHBISHOP’S INSTALLATION

Cardinal Stephen Brislin will be installed as the Metropolitan Archbishop of Johannesburg on 25th January 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Benedict’s College, Bedfordview. All are welcome.

 

GARDEN OF REMEMBRANCE

If you would like to purchase a plaque to be installed in the Garden of Remembrance to remember your faithful departed, please contact the parish office to place an order. Each plaque costs R1400.00.

THE POPE’S PRAYER INTENTION FOR NOVEMBER:

We pray with Pope Francis that all parents who mourn the loss of a son or daughter find support in their community, and may receive peace of heart from the Spirit of Consolation.
