Engaging our Jewish & Muslim neighbours:
A series of discussions to revisit and to re-examine the Vatican II document that considers the Catholic Church’s attitude to Jewish and Muslim people hosted by Fr, David Neuhaus SJ & The Jesuit Institute on Saturday 7 Sept at 9h30 –12h30 at the Jesuit Institute—15 Molesey Avenue, Auckland Park.

A Child Born for Us
A book written by Fr. David Neuhaus SJ titled “A child born for us” – reading the infancy Gospel backwards from the beginning is available for R120 in the parish office.
Student Confirmation Class
The next Confirmation Class for University students will be on Sunday, 25th of August at 14h00. This week’s topic is “Pope Francis and his encyclicals”
Mass Intentions
You can contact the office for Mass intentions. A suggested donation is R50 per Mass. The Mass intentions will be published so that people know which intention or who the Mass is being celebrated for.
Running on empty? Escape the ordinary… renew and recharge
Calm, heal, live… a mindfulness retreat offered by the Jesuit Institute and led by Fr Russell Pollitt SJ and Gillian Hugo will take place at Origins retreat centre from 31 August -2 September 2024. All are welcome. You can find out more and register by contacting retreats@jesuitinstitute.org.za

Baptism
For all parishioners wishing to baptise their babies, please fill in this form Baptism Form (google.com) , the parish will then contact you to set an appointment with Deacon Billy. The next baptism class is on the 21st of September and baptism on the 28th of September.
Annual Leadership Conference 2024
All leaders are invited to attend the Annual Leadership Conference hosted by the Department of Evangelisation in the Archdiocese of Johannesburg. The Conference will be on Saturday 19th October from 08h00 till 16h00 at Holy Family College in Parktown. Cost per person is R100. Those interested to attend, please email the parish and you will be registered.
