The Pope’s Prayer Intention for July:

We pray with Pope Francis that the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick may grant the Lord’s strength to both those who receive it and to their loved ones, and that it may become for everyone an ever more visible sign of compassion and hope.

St. Vincent De Paul

PPC Full Council

The next PPC Full Council is on Saturday 13th of July at 09h00, this will be to meet Fr. Russell and give a report on your particular portfolio or area of responsibility. The following people are expected to attend in addition to the PPC Exec, St. Anne, Sacred Heart, Daughters of St. Anne, Safeguarding, Prayer Ministry, Parish Youth Forum, LGBT group, Trinity Connect, Catechetics, Caritas and Ministries Representative.

Safeguarding Sunday 2024

Safeguarding Sunday is a unique moment when we are invited to embrace our children and enable them to feel protected and alive. 21st of July is Safeguarding Sunday and the Safeguarding Committee of the Archdiocese has asked that we take a second collection, this is aimed at supporting the work of the Committee.

Farewell to Fr. Bruce

A farewell tea will be held on Sunday 28th of July after the 09h30 Mass in Trinity Hall, those who wish to contribute to a farewell gift to Fr. Bruce can make a deposit to the parish account with Fr. Bruce as a reference.

Reflections of the Servants of God

In efforts to raise awareness, the Archdiocese has produced reflections of the servants of God—Daniel & Domitila Hyams who founded Little Eden. Copies of these reflections are available at the parish office for R150 a book.
