The Pope’s Prayer Intention for July:

• We pray that Catholics may place the celebration of the Eucharist at the heart of their lives, transforming human relationships in a very deep way and opening them to the encounter with God and all brothers and sisters.

St. Vincent de Paul

Farewell Mass for Sr Judy Coyle

• On Saturday 22nd July at 11h00, St. Augustine College will have a Farewell Mass for Sr. Judy Coyle who is retiring from the college and returning to her community in the USA. Parishioners are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served but please notify k.urquhart@staugustine.ac.za  before 14 July for catering purposes.

• The next PPC Full Council Meeting will be on the 12th of August at 10h00

Baptism

• For all parishioners wishing to baptise their babies, please fill in this form https://forms.gle/cBJqZHugx3g2K9sZ8  , the parish will then contact you to set an appointment with Fr. Bruce.  The next baptism class is on the 15th of July and baptism is on the 22nd of July.

Jesuit Institute of South Africa ~ 2023 Winter Living Theology

• The Jesuit Institute of South Africa will host the 2023 Winter Living Theology led by Fr. David Neuhaus SJ and this year’s theme is “The Bible: Best-Seller of all Times”. The Johannesburg session is between the 05—07 Sept 2023 at Lumko Retreat Centre, cost per person is R1 950 including lunch and 3 lectures per day. See notice board for more information.
