The Pope’s Prayer Intention for October:

We pray for the Church, ever faithful to, and courageous in preaching the Gospel, May  the Church be a community of solidarity, fraternity and welcome, always living in an atmosphere of Synodality.

Extraordinary Mission Month—October

October is  Mission Month and the Archdiocese has asked contributions towards the Church’s mission during this month of October, you are also encouraged to pray for the Church’s mission during this month. The envelopes for the second collection will be available on the pews throughout the month

 

Confirmation Class

The confirmation class for University Students will be on Sunday at 2pm,  the session will focus on “The Holy Spirit in our lives and the live of the Church”.  All are most welcome to attend.

Wits Research

Wits students are looking for 10 women from outside the borders of SA to be interviewed for research that they are doing. The interviews are set Wednesday and Thursday, all those who can assist please contact the parish before Wednesday.

Baptism

For all parishioners wishing to baptise their babies, please fill in this form https://forms.gle/cBJqZHugx3g2K9sZ8  , the parish will then contact you to set an appointment with Fr. Bruce .  The next baptism class is on the 26th November and baptism on the 03rd December.

Trinity Monthly Lectures

This month’s lecture will be on the 23 October at 11am in the Trinity House Hall. The topic is: “What is transgender and how do we as Church respond to people who are transgender?” Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served after the lecture.

 

2022 Ngome Pilgrimage

2022 Christmas Lunch for the Homeless

Christmas lunch for the homeless will be on Saturday 03rd  December. We are looking for cash donations as well as contributions of food and toiletries. Please contact Prudence on 082 448 6067 or Dieudonne on 071 761 8424. For EFT donations, please use “homeless lunch” as reference.
