Public lecture on Archbishop Romero

Julian Filochowski speaks on ‘Oscar Romero,  bishop and martyr—Guiding Light for the 21st Century’ at Holy Trinity on Sunday 30 October at 11h00 (after the 09h30 Mass). Romero was assassinated while saying mass because of his care for the poor and oppressed of El Salvador. He is considered a saint by his own people – he has not been canonised by the Vatican. He is a real example to us and guide for those who desire and work for justice and peace.
