On Saturday 13th August Archbishop Buti Tlhagale OMI of Johannesburg ordained John Enslin SJ to the priesthood at Holy Trinity in Braamfontein. John initially began studying for ministry in the Dutch Reformed Church as he comes from a staunch Dutch Reformed

Shortly after his appointment as Executive Mayor of Johannesburg Parks Tau and some of his executive staff visited Holy Trinity and were given a special blessing at mass by Fr Russell Pollitt SJ.

On Sunday 22 April the students from WITS University organised a “Cultural Mass”. Everyone was encouraged to wear traditional dress and the prayers of the mass were prayed in different languages.
